LET GO OF YOUR ANGER…

A few weeks ago we tried a new concept called RAGE GROUND, in the heart of Downtown LA. How did we learn about it? How did we have the idea to go there?

It is easy… we are (well I am…) big fans of French TV reality shows, and this kind of activities appeared in the one called “Les Marseillais”, so we decided to googled; “break everything in a room” and… here came RAGE GROUND LA.

What is the purpose of breaking everything?

Instead of spending hours talking to a therapist about your break-up, little depressed moments, or your everyday stress, this experience makes you externalize your issues, and feel reborn.

When we arrived there, all we could see was a front office with someone waiting for us. Two boxes were ready, with a special outfit, masks, helmets, to prevent being hurt when we will throw objects at us…

Then the front desk officer, who was really nice, took us to an ANGER ROOM. Then, he explained us the rules, and what we can and cannot do. Obviously, this is forbidden to break the door and the walls, but, besides, you can break anything you want, anything that is in the box they give you!

We had a lot of objects in our box! From the Champagne glasses to the CD player, or even the ashtrays, there was so many things to throw against the walls !

You can also choose the music you want to listen while you are letting your anger go ! We chose Hard Rock…obviously !

Several weapons can be used too such as; a hammer, a baseball bat, a mallet or an iron bar!

When you get out of the Rage Ground LA room, all the anger is gone… All the resentment, frustrations stayed there, between the broken objects and what’s left on the floor!

We would recommend rage ground LA to anyone, as everybody needs to clear his/her mind. It is a very cathartic experience !
