“Extra” Video Launch Party at Hard Rock Café for Press and Invited Guests

LOS ANGELES, December 2016 – Eleven-year- old Azalea Carey released her very first single, “Extra” on New Music Friday, December 16, 2016. Fans can, now,  download the song on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and Spotify on the release date.

Popular among Generation Z on social media with her own YouTube channel, Azalea expands her audience with “Extra” and its positive vibe of being true to yourself. Dedicated and passionate about her music career, Azalea is an emerging new talent ready to conquer the pop music main stage.

The “Extra” video launch party took place on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Hard Rock Café Hollywood (6801 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, California, 90028) with food, drinks, DJ, music and dancing for invited guests, press and influencers. Red carpet arrivals (photos by Getty Images) began at 6 p.m. inside the restaurant near the main stage. Azalea introduced the video herself with welcoming remarks at 7 p.m. During the launch party, Azalea’s fans could won #Extra#merchandise and took selfies at the Graffiti Photo Wall. After the official launch, the “Extra” video appeared on http://www.azaleacarey.com and YouTube (Azalea Carey), and is now available for download on iTunes and Vevo. Fans are encouraged to make their own video on the Musical.ly app.

Azalea Carey Debut Single “Extra” wants today’s youth to be extraordinary – to put in the effort to be the best on their own and not wait on the approval of others.

The online phenom co-wrote the lyrics with her vocal coach, Nicci Funicelli, as an uplifting mantra dedicated to youth her age. The pop song features a strong dance beat with pulsating rhythms, sugary hooks, and catchy refrains. The “Extra” video, shot in a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, features Azalea and her best friends from her dance competition team.

An avid, trained dancer, Azalea and her friends are members of the Abby Lee Dance Company in Los Angeles.

Azalea’s love for singing and entertaining has been a motivating force of creating her art and passion.
